ENTREPRENEUR LAY ASIDE EVERY WEIGHT

The KJV of Hebrews 12:1 says,

“ lay aside every weight,
​and the sin which doth so easily beset us …”

The weights are wounds and the sin is unbelief.
 
As small business owners, we have a heightened awareness of ourselves, others, and spiritual matters. We constantly lay aside weights to release ourselves in service to our clients, team, industry, and beyond. When we don’t our businesses suffer. A key to staying in business is to be vigilant about being free to create, serve, and be. Aggressively forgive. Move forward faster. ​However, be sure to reflect on any arrows that may have come into your heart. #FORGIVE  Hebrews 12 shows us how.

TPT HEBREWS 12:1 says,

“ … So we [entrepreneurs] must let go of every wound that has pierced us and the sin we so easily fall into.”
 
Further explanation from the TPT commentary on EVERY WOUND is,

“Or ‘get rid of every arrow tip in us.’  The implication is carrying an arrow tip inside, a wound that weighs us down and keeps us from running our race with freedom.”

Do you have arrow tips of unforgiveness? or fear?
 
Further explanation from the TPT commentary on the SIN is,

“Or ‘the sin that so cleverly entangles us.’ The Aramaic can be translated ‘the sin that is ready [and waiting] for us.’ If this is the speaking of one sin, the context would point to the sin of unbelief and doubting God’s promises.”    

To doubt our Father Yahweh is a sin. When we express unbelief in His word, it is a sin. He promised that He would crush the head of the serpent with the seed of the woman and He did. 

That is what Resurrection Sunday is all about.

Jesus, Yeshua our Messiah, was born of a woman with the seed of our Father Yahweh. He walked the earth, was baptized, started His ministry at age 30 or so, had His ministry for 3 years, and then willingly laid down His life for all of us on the cross. Jesus went to hell.

​He was tormented while there. He rose on the third day, ascended to our Father in Heaven and now sits on the throne at the right hand of our Father with all power in His hands.
 
The Lord does not lie. When He asks you to start a business, then have a full expectation to prosper. Know that if you have a constant feeling to start a business or update your marketing strategy or business process, then do so.

TPT HEBREWS 12:1 says

 …. “So we must let go of every wound that has pierced us and the sin we so easily fall into. Then we will be able to run life’s marathon race with passion and determination, for the path has been already marked out before us.”
 ​

Further explanation from the TPT commentary on LIFE's MARATHON RACE is,
 
… “Or ‘obstacle course.” The Greek word agona means agony or conflict.

The assumption is this race will not be easy, but the proper path to run has been set before us.”
 
Further explanation from the TPT commentary on THE PATH HAS BEEN MARKED is,
 
… “The Aramaic can be translated ‘the race [personally] appointed to us.’

​God has a destiny for each of us that we are to give ourselves fully to reach.”

Entrepreneurs, let’s accept that we have been 

personally called to our businesses. If you are in the wrong business, then document the processes and put it up for sale. Get into the business that is appointed for you. He has a plan for you to profit in your business. Align with His plan. Align with His strategy for new clients. Align with His service approach.

Be bold. Be polite. Exhibit freedom!
